Tasmania is in my top ten of holiday destinations. The scenery is diverse, almost all of the best of Australia in one easy to explore island. A great climate (in our winter), friendly people and amazing wildlife unique to the Antipodes.

Explore stunning crowd free coastlines, hike scenic trails and visit wildlife sanctuaries to view wombat, Tasmanian Devils up close. It will take at least two weeks to discover some of the best sights in Tasmania, the longer your trip the better.

Denali National Park is one of the most attractive locations northwest of Anchorage and easily reached by Alaska Rail or road. Informative visitor centre just inside the park entrance with excellent hotels a short drive away. Entry deep into the park to the remote township of Kantishna is restricted to daily Parks bus or private coach transfers to exclusive lodges. The best wildlife viewing is further inside the park. Grizzlies, Wolves, Caribou and Moose can be seen.
